Michigan law mandates that all children entering the 7th grade are required to have a Tdap and Meningococcal Conjugate vaccine. Tdap covers your child for tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis, also known as whooping cough. Meningococcal vaccine is given to help prevent meningitis.
For your convenience, we have the University of Michigan Regional Alliance for Healthy Schools (RAHS) Clinic located in our school. They can provide any immunizations your child may require. They can be reached at

As many of you know, one our precious first graders, Tahj Evans, tragically passed away last week. Tahj's passing has been heart wrenching to all of those who had the privilege of having her cross their path during her short time here.
In an effort to support the Evans Family as they navigate through this tragedy, IAF will be hosting a fundraiser. Starting Tuesday, May 14, and continuing for each Tuesday for the rest of May we will have Tuesdays for Tahj, a $3 dress down day for students and staff. Tahj's favorite color was blue so wearing blue would be special, but not required.
For those who wish to make a donation to the family, IAF is also accepting donations via cash brought to the main office, or on CashApp ($IAFPhoenix).
Please continue to keep the Evans family and our first grade students and staff in your thoughts and prayers.
